I’ve always known that my purpose in life is to create. Through hair, through color, through business—creation has always been my language.
As a stylist, I bring not just experience but intention. Every formula, every tone, every conversation is shaped with care. I’ve done it all—started as an apprentice, worked in mom-and-pop shops and luxe salons, educated full-time as a color specialist, ran a home salon, built and scaled a brand for over a decade, and now chair rent while building what’s next. Every chapter has sharpened my skill and deepened my purpose: to thoughtfully create a space where people feel safe to just arrive and be. Also? I cut a killer bob that’s unapologetically sexy. I’m pickier than you (and that’s a good thing). Reddit calls me the best Asian hairstylist for a reason—and yep, I slay curly hair too. My salon bangs out color corrections like it’s a sport. I train rising talent, lift up the next generation, and while I might look a little intimidating… I’m actually really nice. I just get you. |

Born in the west coast, TJ grew up in Alberta, though always travelling around the province in her youth. In her younger years, she discovered her affinity for the beauty industry.
Starting out by learning and doing nails at 14 years old, to becoming a professional makeup artist at 19, she later elevated her experience to take up hairstyling at 21.
An alumni from MC College, TJ is passionate at making each one of her client’s feel their most confident selves. Her outgoing and inspiring personality will not be missed by any noircissist visiting the salon!
